On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Michigamea Lodge 110 will host the 56th Annual
Potawatomi Trail Hike at Indiana Dunes State Park. More information will be available closer to the event.
Deep River Hike

The Deep River Hike held on November 5, 2011 was a great success. We sold out all 800 patches and had in excess of 1200 hikers enjoy
a beautiful fall day at Deep River. In addition to the hike the Lodge Ceremonial Team conducted a Brotherhood Ceremony. They had about
35 participants and helped a few Chapters succeed in making their goal for Quality Chapter and helped push the Lodge over the 58%
Brotherhood conversion mark for 2011 and a Lodge record. Congratulations to everyone.
About the Hikes
Michigamea Lodge sponsors two hikes during the year, the Deep River and the Potawatomi Trail Hike. These events offered by the Lodge are great opportunities for Scouts and Scouters as well as their families to experience some of the wonderful recourses in our own back yard.
The hikes are open to Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers, Venturing Crews and Families. Hikers can choose either a 5, 10 or 20 mile hike. While at the hike, Lodge Arrow men will be serving the Calumet Council Scouting Community with our Lodge Concession Stand.
